OBJECTIVE
The objective of this challenge is to help support the physical fitness of the POLICE and FIRE personnel in our community.  Both of these groups can find themselves in situations where being fit and in shape may save lives. 

Therefore, in hopes of encouraging maximum participation from each department, we have structured the rules of the contest, not only award best achievement, but also to award extra team points to the departments that have the greatest participation.

EVENTS
40 Yard Dash - overall speed
Bench Press - Max repetition of body weight
Vertical Jump - double leg vertical power achieved after 2 attempts
Tire Flip -
Pro Agility - lateral quickness
Supertreadmill - anaerobic endurance at 8mph with 25degree incline

SCORING


Each contestant must participate in all 6 events

To qualify as a "TEAM" you must bring at least 5 participants
More people are welcome. You can use the 5 top people scores for your team score.

AWARDS
2 weight classes - 200lbs and under & over 200lbs
First and second place awards will be given for each event in each weight class

Awards will also be given for overall individual event First Place qualifier over 50 yrs
Also trophies will be awarded for overall individual event First Place Woman qualifier

Team Trophies will be awarded for:
Best overall Team
Best overall Fire
Best overall Police
Scores from team members in either weight class can be used for total team scores

ie: One contestant with best bench in the over 200lb category can be used as well as 40 yard dash score from another contestant in the under 200lb weigh class.
