OBJECTIVE
The objective of this challenge is to help support the physical fitness of the POLICE and FIRE personnel in our community. Both of these groups can find themselves in situations where being fit and in shape may save lives.
Therefore, in hopes of encouraging maximum participation from each department, we have structured the rules of the contest, not only to award best achievement, but also to award extra team points to the departments that have the greatest participation.

EVENTS
(due to space restrictions there will be no 40yd dash or tire flip this year)




Bench Press - Max repetition of body weight




Vertical Jump - double leg vertical power achieved after 2 attempts




Power sled - leg strength




Pro Agility - lateral quickness




Supertreadmill - anaerobic endurance at 8mph with 25degree incline

SCORING
We will use a point system in each event.
The top 5 in each event will all receive points
that will count towards team and individual score.
Each contestant must participate in all 6 events

To qualify as a "TEAM" you must bring at least 5 participants
More people are welcome. You can use the 5 top people scores for your team score.
This scoring will give an advantage to teams with more people,sort of like best ball in golf

MANY CHANCES TO BRING HOME THE HARDWARE !!!
First and second place award for each event in each of the following age groups
Under 35 years old
35 to 45 years old
45 years and over
Also an overall age group winner will be awarded

We will have 2 weight classes (non age dependant)
Under 200lbs
Over 200lbs
We will have an overall individual first place award for each weight group

Women's first and second place awards will be given for each event
as well as an overall women's award
WOMEN - BENCH PRESS WILL BE REPPED AT 50% OF BODY WEIGHT

Team Awards will be given to
BEST Fire Team / BEST Police Team / BEST Overall Team
